Thank you so much for the kudos. I really appreciate it. Yes, it took a very long time to put this together, but it sure was a lot of fun for your students as well as mine. It is a great culture activity as well as one that shows that our math system is NOT the only one. If you're a math teacher, you might want to check out my "Arabic Influence on language, numbers, food, and culture." There are 2 exercises writing what they call "Indian" numbers.
