You’ve read with your students in the text about the various types of landforms and even showed them some examples on a map. However, you want something for them to do that will engage them actively in the learning process. This is a great way to introduce landforms to your students. Students from 6th – 9th grade will enjoy creating this project. Let them be as creative as they want to be!
The instruction page is clearly written and ready to be copied and handed out to your students. I have also included a Grading Rubric to make grading just a bit easier.

I began my teaching career in the elementary grades teaching a Special Education Self-Contained Classroom. I changed school districts and taught in Junior High School, 6-8th. I taught Social Studies/History, Reading, and Math. I became a teacher/administrator at a small private school for 9th-12th grade. I taught Geography and History, plus Biology and some English. I have had a wide variety of experience, not only with subject area, but with types of students, as well.
