Would this unit be to difficult for 6th grade? I see you have it for seventh and up. Thanks!

I set it as 7th grade and up because our state does not address the world history or religion components until 7th grade, but it would be very good to use with the 6th grade classes! I've even had feedback from a 5th grade teacher that used it with her GT kids. I hope it will work for you!

Hi Michele,

I am interested in purchasing this unit, but I was wondering if you could explain to me the difference between this unit and the World Religions Investigation Unit with the centers? Thank you!

This is the complete unit with lectures and other activities. The investigation centers is an activity that covers all the unit content, but one activity. It's great as an intro activity, a review, or as reinforcement.
If you have any other questions, please let me know! And I hope this has clarified it! :)

It is actually within the Powerpoint for Judaism. The directions are provided on one slide and follow-up follows!

That is not a reading; it is just a discussion prompt! The reading is the line above and is simply titled "World Religion Reading." I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions!

I was reading over this unit plan and was wondering what you did with the poem- The Blind Men & The Elephant? Did you just simply read the poem to your class? or what did you do that went along with the major religions?

I used it at the very beginning of the lesson along with online perspective drawings to introduce and lead a discussion on multiple perspectives. I found it to be a great lead before I started the lessons on the various religions and how people around the world view one another. Hope this helps!
