Will there be any of the other 4 religions added? Also, When we refer to the books of the Torah, they must not be presented as the first five books of the bible. The Torah is the bible, therefore, saying the first five books gives the reader the feel of a Christian writer.

This is a good powerpoint to present the basic essentials of Judaism at a sixth grade level. However, as a technology coordinator who locates such material for my teachers, I needed to rework just about every page so that this could be presented in the classroom. The font size on the various slides varied from 18, to 24, to 28, to 32 with the headings being a size 44! It needs to be a consistent minimum of 32 in order to be large enough for presentation to a classroom!

As an historian of religions, I was a bit surprised to see common errors about "Judaism" perpetrated here, for instance, that Hebrew Religion was monotheistic (it was not; they worsipped one god, but recognized the existence of others) and that it is the same as Judaism. These problems are resolved in any good introductory Judaism class in the university.

Wow! This is a wonderful introduction to religious studies. I teach band (usually) but once in a while I must substitute in history. The teacher for the class left this for me to use to present while I subbed the class and the kids enjoyed it. This powerpoint makes it easy to understand the essential elements of Judaism. I was impressed!
