Yes, there is a May writing bundle in the works. Right now, the only part that is posted is the Mother's Day cloze sentence letters. You can find them here

I am working on a unit for the students to write longer stories (this lesson builds on what they learned in writing a short story and has them develop their own starting sentence before writing events) and possibly a unit on writing in speech bubbles / thought bubbles.
I don't think I'll get it done in time for you to use this year, but hopefully, it will be done some time in June. If you are a follower, you'll get the email alert.

Hi, I have downloaded your October packet for use in my classroom. I currently do not have a writing curriculum and have been looking for something/a resourcr to use so that it doesnt seem so pieced together. Do you have a map by month of what your lessons include and what standards they address?

Hi! Thanks for your interest in my writing lessons! I am just finishing the last unit and once that is done, I'll put out a full scope and sequence of the lessons (your Oct. packet will flash in "my purchases" indicating that it was updated). I plan to include the scope and sequence with each individual lesson and packet. The program progresses from writing a word through writing a short story. I have been teaching first grade for 24 years and created the program from all the writing lessons I developed over the years (and out of need because we did not have a writing program either and like you, I wanted something that had a specific progression, not just a bunch of random writing projects). It addresses writing standards from k-2. At this point, I leave it up to the buyer to decide which standards are being covered. I may (at some point) add common core standard connections to the lessons (but that would probably happen over summer break). I hope to have the scope and sequence ready to post before the end of this year (2012). Thanks so much for your interest! I hope this helps answer your questions.
