Learning about pumpkins has never been so much fun! In this package you will find 18 'pumpkin' words (such as pumpkin, Jack-o-Lantern, etc.) for you to place around your classroom. I have also included a secondary set of 'pumpkin' words including a picture beside each word. Students will then go on a "Word Hunt" and read and record the words they find. (I like to use clipboards and have students pretend they are "Word Detectives" while doing this activity).
Included are several worksheets and follow up activities. This package goes very well with my Pumpkins Literacy and Math Activities Unit. Happy teaching!
