Are you implementing writer's workshop with your class? Do you want a way for students to keep track of their work? Try writing binders.
In this unit are:
1. Cover page to put on the outside of a binder or folder ( boy or girl)
2. Writing binder inserts: Item's I'm working on..
Items to be revised
Items to be published
3. Portfolio pages
Persuasive essays
Narrative Essays
Expository Essays
4. Colored # tags to put on the outside of the binders. Great if you do not want to relabel with each students name year after year. Rather assign each student a # instead.
5. Additional inserts that students can refer to as they are writing:
List of transition words
Vivid Verbs- students can add
$$$ Words- Students can add
