This is a great little tool to use during writing workshop to encourage self-assessment during the writing process with your students. It includes areas that identifies self edit and revise, peer help with a focus on the 6 traits, and self-reflection. Students are asked to grade themselves using GUMS (grammar, usage, mechanics, and spelling). Lastly, it provides an area for celebration and focus for the next time.
