Do you follow a writer's workshop model in your classroom? After each unit, what do you find yourself doing with your students' work? These cover sheets will help you organize and store your students' work in a nice, neat way. Fold a large piece of construction paper in half and glue on a cover sheet for your students to place writing inside to store in their individual files. I find it handy to pull these out at Conference time to share each unit with parents.
Using the Common Core writing units that I am piloting in my state, these covers were created to reflect the units we will be working on. Some mirror Lucy Calkins and will look familiar to you if you use Primary Writing Units in your classroom.
Covers included are:
Launching with Concept Books
Small Moments
Revision
How-to
Informational Books
Opinion: Writing Letters for Speeches for Social Action
Authors as Mentors
Expert Projects in Content Area
Poetry
Realistic Fiction

It sounds like you don't have the newest version of adobe reader on your computer. Please try updating it and try downloading it again. Thanks!!!!

Hi! I was wondering what I could do in order to view the document. When I downloaded it the "ABC" part come in very clear but the black words are a blurry black line. I think you make great items!
Thank you!
Hi, from what I understand with downloading and problems is that you probably don't have the latest version of adobe. If that doesn't work, customer service can help you better. : ) thanks for your interest!
