My students need a "warm up" to help them build fluency in their writing. They use these booklets, and write anything they can think of for two minutes. The only rules: No erasing and they have to keep the pencil moving. If they can't think of anything, they simply write "I can't think of anything". I'm starting to see progress! See my blog at Elementary Matters - Writing Warm Up for more details!
Stream of consciousness writing is great for accessing creativity and helping the perfectionists to understand that not every attempt will be a masterpiece! Thanks for the template
