This is a wonderful unit that will encourage young authors to explore a variety of genres while writing in a variety of formats! Included in this unit you will find patterns, writing materials, and more that will give your students the support they need to write across 7 genres. This is a great way to reinforce genres or to simply incorporate some really creative writing into the classroom. This unit can be easily adapted to meet the needs of any grade level and includes writing paper for both primary and elementary levels.

Hmmm...it depends on the level of your students. 1-2...maybe 4/5 weeks. 3rd and up can probably complete it in 3ish weeks.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
During my short teaching career, I have never stayed in one place too long! :) I've been teaching for six years - 4 years in 1st grade,1 year in 2nd, and have now moved on to 3rd grade just this year. Looping has presented many challenges, but I have enjoyed all of the wonderful experiences that this model of teaching can offer. I adore my job and am always looking for ways to improve my instruction in the classroom. I have quickly learned that when you make learning magical, that is when it truly sticks for the "long haul". I enjoy creating resources that bring learning to life in my classroom, and I am so excited to be able to offer a little piece of that to you here on TPT. Happy Teaching! :)
