Here is a worksheet I use with my 1st grade class. I use the SMARTBOARD file to display the Writing Checklist worksheet when explaining it to my students. This Writing Checklist worksheet helps my 1st graders realize if they have written complete sentences. After each writing assignment I pass out this checklist and my students become aware of mistakes they have made. This worksheet helps them develop self correcting and monitoring skills. I have the file in both Rich Text Format for Windows/Mac (so you can edit) and PDF. There are also fonts included.
