This PowerPoint presentation will ensure that your writers never end their stories with "The End" or "That is my story." It provides young writers with different options for ending their personal narrative. A clever closing can be written by repeating the beginning, using a quote or question, sharing a lesson learned, or writing a hope, wish, or dream. The PowerPoint provides examples of each and encourages students to really think about writing an effective ending.

I am currently a Talent Development Teacher for my district. I work to accelerate and challenge gifted students in grades K-5. Through close relationships and careful planning and collaboration with their classroom teachers, I am able to effectively meet the needs of these high ability learners. Before taking on this unique role, I taught 3rd grade for four and a half years. Immediately after graduating college, I spent nearly two years working with special needs students.
