This is a set of writing goals to be used to make a clip chart to display in your classroom to keep track of what each individual student is working on in writing. The intention is to start with just a few goals and then add on as the year progresses.

Is there anyway you'd be able to create writing goals that say, "My writing has a beginning, middle, and end" and "my writing has good details.." ? I'll leave you awesome feedback! :)

I have been teaching since 2000. I started out in 4th grade for two years then went on to teach 3rd grade for 6 years. I have been teaching 1st grade ever since and have loved every bit of it. I believe all elementary teachers need to experience 1st grade for at least a year....there is so much learning and growing going on...it is amazing!
