These Writing/ Journal Topics were created to use in classrooms during Writing Workstations, Writers Workshop or any creative writing time during your day. The file was created in a label document in order to be placed on the LARGE popsicle sticks. Students just pull out a stick and choose a topic! They are great for those writer's block moments and really get the students writings juices flowing! As a bonus I included Quiz Questions for stories at the end (What is the setting? What is the main idea? etc.)

Included in the document are 33 Journaling Topics and 15 Quiz Questions.

Directions:
Print on Avery 1"x 2 5/8" (30 labels per sheet, Template 5160) Afterwards, trim down to fit onto the large popsicle sticks.

I am having trouble printing the writing/journal topics on labels. All of the rows beginning with the 3rd row down is too high for the label and the last column is too close to the middle column to fit on the label. Is there a way I can add space to make these topics fit on the labels correctly? Thanks for your help.

If you are using the correct labels, then typically when it is not printing in the lines correctly it has to do with your printer settings. All printers are different but if you change the settings from print to fitable area to none. It usually does the trick. Hope this helps!
