Handwriting Lines: This bundle of writing lines for use in primary materials/resources includes 32 total files: 16 PNG and 16 JPG of various line weights and length of lines.

Since these are clip art images rather than text files, you can move the single lines where ever you wish on the page, resize them easily, change the orientation or angle, etc.

Each grouping contains two solid lines and a middle dashed line. If you think the lines need adjusting, I am open to suggestions and will make changes/additions!

Yes, these can be used commercially in free and priced products. Terms are included. *No citation or link-back is needed!*

Hi,
I just bought the handwriting lines....is there a way to make this file like a template so I could type on the lines? Just curious....

I think the only way it will work is if you place them into a word processing document (like Word or Pages), then create a text box to place over them, then save the file as a template. I hope that helps, Nancy! Thanks for your purchase!

I'm getting a message at extraction that says the archive is in unknown format or damaged. This hasn't happened before with all of my other clip art. Any ideas?

**N/M I downloaded again and it's fine. =-)

Hi Bee Hive - I've never heard of that. Have you tried re-downloading them? Perhaps there was interruption in the service? Which program are you trying to open them with? Not sure why you are opening an archive, though--usually those are just files storing coding and such that support the clip art (PCs can't read the way Mac files are embedded, so they download a bunch of extra junk and archive the info. separately). As long as you are able to use the .png and/or .jpg files, just ignore the other files. -Tracee
Oh good! Glad that worked! :)

They are clip art images, so they can be placed in a Word document and sized exactly how you want them. You can't type on the images themselves unless you place them in the Word doc and put a text box over it. Perhaps you are looking for a font you can load instead? I think if you check dafonts or freefonts you might find one and have better luck than working with the clip art. I hope that helps!

Hi BCarroll2 - Thanks so much for your purchase! I never open the images. I just use the "Place" or "Insert" feature in the document. If you are using Word or similar word-processing, I have a free tutorial that should help: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/How-To-Use-Frames-Text-in-Microsoft-Word It explains with pictures better than I could in this message. :) I hope this helps!
