This 150 page pack is full of writing rubrics!
The pack is divided into 4 sections. Each section has 40 rubrics. The only difference between each section is the scale.
Section One's scale is Needs Improvement; Fair; Good; Excellent
Section Two's scale is Developing; Almost there; Just right; Excellent
Section Three's scale is With guidance; little guidance; with reminders; independent writer
Section Four's scale (common core language): needs guidance, developing, meets standard, exceeds standard.
In each section. there are:
~13 general rubrics (I tried to make a variety of general rubrics to fit different needs. There are varying levels of these general rubrics.)
~rubrics for each writing trait. (There are 4 for content/ideas, 4 for conventions, 3 for sentence fluency, 3 for organization, and one for word choice/voice.)
~ rubrics for certain writing assignments (persuasive, "how to", letter writing, narrative retelling, and informational)

I love this packet, too! You really have provided a great structure for me to teach my students about their writing skills. Would you consider adding ratings that reflect closer to the common core- exceeds standards, meets standards, developing skills and need guidance? (These are just an idea.) It would help those of us who have to document student growth. A place to write the title of the student's work would be awesome.

I love your rubrics packet. Is there any way you would consider making a reading response rubric or a series of them? Some general ones that would go with any book. We are always repsonding to our read to self books, but I would love to have some general rubrics to set the expectations. For example: I demonstrated my understanding of what I read in the book, I demonstrated my understanding of the comprehension skill, I repsonded using complete sentences, I responded with an illusration that matched my words,etc. I am super interested!
