This unique activity gives the students and teacher an opportunity to get to know one another while also seeing a sample of your students' writing. This writing sample activity asks kids to create a piece of writing (typically 5 paragraph)as a potential contestant for the upcoming season. In addition, students will present their answer to the writing prompt to the "judges." A motivating and fun activity to begin any school year. I also have a "Survivor" writing activity available.
