Hi Joan,
I didin't realize that I had put the actual item also in the "free preview". This goal card is intended for you to model some of your anticipated skills/strategies to your writer's for launching....for example, I might write on goal #1: I will date all of my writer's notebook entries. Goal # 2 might be, " I will think of important people and places and moments that happened there to help me get started writing a small moment entry"..etc...whatever you are expecting of your students. I will remove the "free preview" as I do not have a shortened version of this. Please accept my apologies as when uploading these items, and being fairly new to tpt.com, I did overlook this. Be sure to check out many of my newly added items as well and my website http://custommadeteachingmaterials.blogspot.com
