PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This works great as a lesson on teaching major story elements, as well as sequencing.

*MEETS COMMON CORE STANDARDS*
RL1.2, RL1.3, RL1.7, RL2.1, RL2.3, RL2.5, RL2.7, RL3.3, RL3.5

This may be used in 1st or 4th grade, but ideal for 2nd or 3rd grade. I created this compilation this year, as a second grade teacher, and found it to be extremely successful in depicting all of the major elements of a story. When teaching the use of the graphic organizer, the focus should be on the middle section, or the problem. Although I've included a detailed "How to use..." page, the graphic organizers are very versatile and can be used in many other ways throughout your classroom.
