This is a template for a research paper on a US state. It is designed for a 3rd to 4th grade level. The organizer is also appropriate for use in a 5th-6th grade class with struggling or Special Education students. There is a simple bibliography and a detailed expository outline for the student to fill in. There is also the opportunity to add creative touches.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I loved teaching for 30 years in a large urban district. I have taught for K to 8 with a particular fondness for 5th and 6th. A variety of settings kept life interesting. I have done resource, self contained, inclusion, co- teaching, school intervention specialist and regular ed. Due to budgets and student needs, I have always had to design and implement teacher made materials in my classroom and found great satisfaction in seeing these materials help students learn. I also loved sharing with other teachers. Collaboration is essential, teaching can be a lonely profession. It is now exciting to be able to publish these materials on TPT for others to continue to use.
