Students will enjoy using their creativity when writing their own African folktale! After reading several examples students use this 7-page packet to walk them through writing their very own African folktale. This packet includes: an overview of purpose and description of African folktales, directions/checklist for writing their own, writing brainstorm and plot outline, how to publish the final draft story, evaluation sheet, and a handout for a read around to share classmates finished folktales!
