This packet includes Writing prompts for months August through June.
Themes are:
August: Back to School, Getting to Know You, Rules
September: Self, Family, School
October: Columbus, Halloween, Fall
November:Being Thankful,Foods, Thanksgiving
December: Christmas, Santa, Winter
January: Arctic Animals, Snow
February: Presidents, Diversity, Valentines Day, Love
March: Spring, St. Patty's Day, Weather
April: Rain, Environment, Easter
May: Summer, Mother's Day,Ocean Animals
June: End of the Year, Changing, Beach
Beside each prompt, you can record that you’ve given the prompt to your students by marking the date in which it was given. For older students, you can give each monthly sheet to each student to keep in their writing journal and they can write at their own pace.
Goal sheets: Keep in a binder/folder to help organize what your goals are for your class and what writing skill still needs to be addressed. There is also a small chart where you can record the resources you used to help with writing in the class (textbooks, internet sources, etc.)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have 10 total years of teaching experience in grades 1st-4th in North Carolina. I am now a stay at home mom, busy teaching my 4 year old and 2 year old. My experiences as a teacher and mom go into every product I make. I create items that hopefully make a teacher's classroom organized and lessons where their students stay highly engaged. I've been in your shoes and I want to make your "teacher-life" easier to handle!! :) Drawing is another passion of mine and I enjoy creating all sorts of clip art for the classroom.
