Looking for a fun, meaningful activity to keep students engaged for the last days of school? Here is a fun, interactive spin on the classic Memory Book project. Students can create their own PowerPoint Slideshow documenting their experiences in a school year. This instruction sheet lets students know which slides must be included in their slideshow, but also gives them the flexibility to create their own relevant slides, too. They will also love the chance to share these slideshows with their peers! You can even use some of their slideshows to show at Open House next year.

I am currently a Talent Development Teacher for my district. I work to accelerate and challenge gifted students in grades K-5. Through close relationships and careful planning and collaboration with their classroom teachers, I am able to effectively meet the needs of these high ability learners. Before taking on this unique role, I taught 3rd grade for four and a half years. Immediately after graduating college, I spent nearly two years working with special needs students.
