The making 10 book comes with two 10-bead counters and features corresponding drawings of the bead counters to help young learners master all of the ways to add to ten. The terms "is the same as" and "=" are in red to help students understand the equal sign. I have also written the number sentences in various formats: __ + 6 = 10, __ = 6 + 4, 4 + __ = 10, etc. The last page features number sentences, and the corresponding bead counter drawings, that can be difficult: 7 + 3 = 6 + __. This will help students develop relational thinking. The pages are in page protectors and bound with a Redi-bind strip. It is intended for use with dry erase markers. The page protectors can easily be replaced if they get worn. 10-bead counters also sold in packages of 20. Check them out in my other products.
