This common core math station activity provides practice with the standard: 1.NBT.5. Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count; explain the reasoning used.
In order for students to be able to mentally find 10 more or 10 less, they need concrete hands-on practice; this math station is perfect for that.
