The Lesson Lady presents Zoo Animal Math Game! You choose if students use multiplication, addition, or subtraction to play this fun game.
Students will add animals to their zoo as they use addition, multiplication, or subtraction to calculate the answers on a pair of dice. The student with the most animals in his or her zoo wins!
All you will need to play this game is a pair of dice. The following game parts are included in this lesson:
- A detailed lesson plan including directions, objective, and set up instructions.
- Zoo Roll Cards
- Zoo template
- Three pages of fun and colorful zoo animals

Wow! I am so impressed with your originality! The kids will love this!!! The idea could be used with flash cards instead of dice, and I plan to use high frequency word flashcards. I'll probably use other animal pictures as well. My brain is busy thinking of other ideas. For example, making sections with different categories of animals on the zoo template, i.e. mammals, birds, reptiles, etc. I can't wait to try it! Thank you so much!
