This is a card sort using only arrays. This activity comes with a set of array sorting cards, a array grid for gluing the cards, and an ANSWER KEY. Directions are included on the student handout. Students will cut out the sorting cards and decide which array card goes under what label on the array grid. Then they will write the correct name of the array on the card. Next they will glue the cards onto the array grid.

A good way to review. Some of the marks are quite small, and a few students had trouble counting them. Overall though, it was an effective tool to use.

I have been teaching for the last 18 years. I have taught 4th grade for the last 11 years, teaching all subjects. I have a passion for Math, and have been allowed to teach it exclusively for the last few years. I also taught 6th grade math/social studies/science in a middle school before switching gears to the elementary school.
