
I earned my degree in 1986 and have in the field of special education since graduation. I worked at the local mental retardation board for 17 years. I then worked for an independent living center, where I was a school advocate specialist and an ADA specialist and the Northernwest Ohio program co-ordinator for Vocational Rehabilitation Services, PCA program. During this time I was appointed by the governor to the Consumor Advisory Council. I was also a member of th NW Ohio TBI committee. I presently am teaching at a charter school where I am teaching art and music. I still have 2 fll time sped kids and assist with others when needed. I have the sped students for math, social studies and language arts, they spend science and specials with their regular class. Since the writting of this I have switched to art and music as well as special ed.
