This sheet will help you get started in iMovie. This is a really creative program on your Mac and has many classroom applications, such as preserving field trip moments, special celebrations at school, performances, etc. It would even be a great way for teachers to record important information/demonstrations (such as reading with a child) to send home to parents. The possibilities are endless.

If you have an older (or newer) version of iMovie, there may be some differences, but this iMovie QuickSheet should be enough to get you headed in the right direction. As with any software, trial and error and lots of exploration will teach you more than any "cheat-sheet" can. Don't be afraid to move things and click things... it can usually be undone with the "UNDO" command.

Have fun movie-making... ACTION! :)

Thank you! I used to use imovie on an old mac book, and now I have a new macbook pro and haven't been able to learn this version of imovie. This will help a lot! I know it was a lot of work!
