So, I am COMPLETELY in love with this unit! My class produced some wonderful writing, and of course it's much more fun to write on super cute paper! I do have a favor to ask though. During this time of year, all grades in our district are working on writing opinion or persuasive writing, so of course I used all this wonderful writing as a basis for that, and we wrote about who we thought was the best or most important president and why. However, we were so sad to have to use paper with less-than-cute graphics to write our final draft on. Any chance I can talk you into adding a page like that to this unit?

I love your President's Day pack and the craftivities that go with it! I can't wait to use them with my class. I know they will love them. I was hoping to give the students a choice to write a short report about either George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, or our current President, Barack Obama. However, I would like for each student to be able to make a craft to go with their writing. I was wondering if you make other craftivites by request. I am looking for a Barack Obama craftivity. Please, let me know. Even if you don't do crafivities by request, I do love your packets and work. Thank you for sharing!

I like to read the first biography books from Scholastic. They have one for both George & Abe. I also read books like Abe Lincoln's Hat and George Washington and the General's Dog. Hope this helps! :)
