My students have LOVED this simple activity! It can be used as a center or whole group. The students write a short vowel in the missing letter space to make a word; then record the word on their recording sheet.

Thank you, this will help my little students with their reading & writing. It will also help them work out if it's a 'real' word or 'made up' word. Simple butso much potential for learning & having fun with words :-)
