This product can be used either as a quiz, test, or even as a homework review handout. It is two pages long. It assesses student mastery of plurals and possessives. There are four different sections to this assessment. Part one is worth 30 points. There are ten words in singular form and students must change them into plural form (examples: car, patio, strawberry). Part two is also worth 30 points. Students must rewrite phrases into the possessive case (examples: radio belonging to you becomes your radio). Part three is worth 10 points. Students must take the words (set of 10) and form contractions (examples: can not, let us). Part four is worth 40 points. It is called which is correct? Each problem has two sentences, sentence a and sentence b. students must read both carefully and decide which is correct regarding the use of plurals and possessives. This assessment has something for every type of learner's "strong suit."
