TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 13 years in the same County. Twelve of them at the same school! My first five years were as a Special Educator in Kindergarten. I then became a General Educator and Team Leader in Kindergarten. In 2009 I was asked if I would move to Second Grade as Team Leader. My first thought, NO WAY! I LOVED teaching Kindergarten. However, I now know it was a great opportunity! I absolutely love second grade!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe students flourish in a structured environment. I set my expectations high and all my students do their best to achieve their goals. Once the students know the routine and daily expectations, all that's left is to have FUN! I strive to make each day jam-packed with fun learning experiences.
