I bought these Math Investigations thinking that it would be easy to convert a FLIPCHART file to a NOTEBOOK file for the SmartBoard. Though the information looks wonderful and I wished I would have been able to use them, I could never get them coverted to a file my laptop could recognize. So make sure your computer allows flipchart files. Thanks so much!!!

I love this idea! I had already downloaded Unit One, but I went ahead and bought Units 1-8. Is there any way you can email them to me individually? I don't want to have to go through every page of unit one to get to unit two. It may have been better for me to buy them individually. Thanks!

I purchased 1-8 math units in Feb. I am so thrilled! Could you email each unit separately to me as I feel it would be easier to pull up on my board. I love your work and I use this flip every single day instead of going to the Pierson Math.

The white board activities provided with the curriculm include games and activities that go along with the unit topics. The ones I made are for teaching EACH session in the book. I have unit 5 for free since it is such a small unit and it will help teachers see what the flipcharts are like. Feel free to download and play with it to get a better understanding. I purchased three this morning, and it IS a good deal buying the package. I don't mind buying the others later without the discount. I figure you earned this by putting in all the work and it saves ME the time NOT making something. Yes, too much supplementing and I work in a Title 1 school so the pacing is far too fast without enough review. Most concepts way over their heads. Some things like data charts should not even take as long as the sequence is...those can be and should be done every single week -- and I guarantee most teachers do a weather chart every day. I start the year off with each type of chart and we change it out each week with various questions. That is why I am going to the Daily 5 Math idea. I haven't quite thought it through, but I think I will leave review type games/activities up for two weeks (as they will only visit each area once during the week; that will allow them two visits). The Smartboard will be one area now...one less activity for me to make! THANKS!!!!

I teach at a Title school too. I agree! The thing that drives me crazy is that there are hardly any subtraction lessons with it. AND they made us copy all of the "new" lessons that align to the CC. UG!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been an educator since 1993. I have taught: PreK, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1/2 multi-age and a 3/4 Gifted cluster class. Arizona was my home for many years and the past 6 have been spent in Colorful Colorado.
