Carolyn Northup  (TpT Seller) re: 3D TWINZ: AJ Mouse Presents
I love your work! Two questions: Are the characters part of the page, or are they separate and able to be manipulated? Also, are they are available for commercial use? Thank you!

Greetings Carolyn, thanks for your inquiry. Yes, the characters are part of the picture (they're jpg files). Are there certain ones you would like to see in png format (transparent background)?
Yes, you may use the templates for commercial purposes. If you intend to sell your lessons using the character templates, we ask that you "flatten" your material into the presentation so that the template itself cannot be copied/customized by others.
Another quick way to "burn" your lesson into the PowerPoint is to turn your lesson slides into pictures (take a snapshot of them using SnagIt software, for example). You can insert these pictures into a new PowerPoint presentation. ***This is the technique we use most often to protect the designers we work with.
If you have any questions or need assistance with your project, let us know. We're happy to help and we'll follow up.

Sincerely,

Is there a way to "flatten" the material to the Powerpoint template using Powerpoint 2007? I'm not familiar with SnagIT. Where can I get this? Thanks for all your help. I love all of your templates! :)

Thanks very much for your post, TeachA2Z. We are glad to hear that you are pleased with your purchases. Here's our follow up to your questions:
#1 Is there a way to flatten images in PowerPoint 2007?
Answer: Unfortunately there isn't a way to flatten images in PowerPoint 2007. Designers use software like Adobe CS4 to flatten their material. There is a free alternative to Adobe called GIMP. Like Adobe, it allows users to flatten images (by merging all the individual layers into one).
Here's the web link to GIMP:http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
Here's the user guide info about how to flatten images using GIMP:
http://www.tech-faq.com/gimp.html

#2 I'm not familiar with SnagiT. Where can I get this?
You may purchase SnagIt from TechSmith for $29.95. This is the cheapest price we could find online. Snagit has been worth the investment for us. We're able to create derivative products (under licensing from our designers) using Snagit. Here's the web link: https://store.techsmith.com/education.asp
Jing will also work as a screen/image capture tool (for taking snapshots). You may want to try Jing in lieu of Snagit since it is free. The free download is available at:
http://www.techsmith.com/download/jing/default.asp

Thanks again for your feedback and purchases. We're busy creating new templates and games for TpT. We will also be launching new TpT Merchant Resource packs with presenters. Be sure to check back--even if it is just to chat or ask questions about techie stuff. We're always happy to help.

Sincerely,
3D Twinz

Could I use this to build my own powerpoint presentation for my classroom, as well as turn around and sell my powerpoint on TPT?

Greetings Teachazz,

Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, you may use the "Spot the Dalmatian Puppy" PowerPoint presentation for your own classroom. We want teachers to be able to customize their lectures so we do not have restrictions for classroom use.
If you intend to sell your lesson using the "Spot the Dalmatian Puppy" template, we ask that you "flatten" your material into the presentation so that the template itself cannot be copied/customized by others.

Another quick way to "burn" your lesson into the PowerPoint is to save your lesson slides as pictures (take a snapshot of them using SnagIt software, for example). TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Greetings! Our names are Anita and Annette. We've taught law and business courses for over 7 years. During this time we've had to resort to developing our own presentation materials because of the lack of course development resources available to us--not to mention the high cost of some products. The end result is our "Presenter Series." We're very excited to offer these quality resources to you. We'll be rolling out new character templates each month.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We believe learners deserve presentations that are engaging and fun. Our goal is to inspire creativity through our novel use of 3D avatars! Our main goal is to banish boring clip art from presentations. (-8 (-8
