Thank you for your question. These do fit well in composition books as well. Some of them have miniature versions but you can also normally print multiple per page if using the larger ones once you have saved them.

For me the best starting point was my Flippable Template Pack. This made it to where I could create Flippables for our notes at any time and tailor them to what we were learning.
All of my items are aligned to Common Core as well as Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills as that is what we use in Texas. I have taken quite a bit of extra time to be skilled in the CCSS so that I can align them appropriately as I know that it is crucial for the majority of the states.

Your amazing! I am a math coach in Tx and I am implementing Interactive notebooks next school year. These are exactly what I was looking for. Are you interested in selling one of your pre-made notebooks for an example? Are you doing any in-services or willing to? I am determined to get this up and going this year for 6,7,8 grades and I am going to be the resource teacher so I want to have one completely done for "general reference" and then make one with the classes as the year progresses. How many class periods would this bundle cover (typically our units are a month long during the school year but severely condensed during the summer). Does the 3 weeks mean 3 hour long periods? Thank you for contacting me and for the sweet comments. I personally think this unit would be AWESOME for summer school because of how crucial proportions are for students to master. There is a pacing guide with this unit and if each activity is done then it will cover 3 weeks of class periods. For my school that was a 48 minute class 5 days a week. There are a few centers that come with this and can be eliminated or replace the lesson if needed. Summer School is typically a smaller class so you might be able to do more in a class period as well.

Thanks for asking. Solve and Snips are each a set of 10 of word problems based on a specific skill. Quicks Snips are a set of 5 sheets of 10 computation problems each with gradual increase from A to B and they cover one computation skill each. Both have MANY more coming and being added to the bundles regularly!

There are a few different bundles that I use with my lower group available in my store. The Data & Graphs unit, Number Operations, and Rational Numbers were all used with them specifically. I have several more lessons that are individually offered in my store but my 8th grade group (roughly 5th-6th grade levels) was able to do this unit but I did add a week to it and did more repetition throughout the unit as well as added in the Proportions Solve and Snip for partner work.

My students and I loved, loved, loved the Solve and Snip activity. However I believe there are a few errors. #10 - should it be 10,000 square meters? #5 should it be 630 square meters? Also, we were confused on question #3. If they are supposed to determine area, I don't believe there is a correct answer provided? Thanks much!

They are not. The puzzle pieces are the same so it requires them to truly understand the correct answer. The font I used to create these only had the one puzzle piece style but I will definitely look into creating some self correcting puzzles. That would be great for independent work.

I was wondering if you will be selling a template for the quick snips? These are great for my Sped kiddos. I wanted to make more computation problems like order of operation, and adding and subtracting fractions and multiplying and dividing fractions. Not word problems just problems. I work in 6th grade.

I have been asked a few times now to create an entire 4th Grade Bundle for Solve and Snips and it is something I have started to work on here and there. It is one of my priorities this Summer as it has been repeatedly requested. I will be creating a Solve and Snip for each concept that allows for them (some don't work with word problems) and bundle them together for 25% off the price of each of them purchased individually.
