I have taught for fifteen years in a variety of grade levels and socio-economic levels. I have enjoyed all grade levels that I have taught, and am enjoying my current work in Junior High! I have a B.S.I.S. from Midwestern State University and a Master's in Technology Integration from Nova Southeastern University. I have also worked as a Campus Technology Integration Facilitator, and have presented at local and regional conferences. I enjoy working with peers and students! They both provide new sets of challenges.
I use a variety of teaching styles in my classroom. I employ the use of many products, as well as, contracts, layered curriculum and activities menus. I think a good balance of teacher direction and student choice is beneficial to student learning and achievement.
