I am a little disappointed. There is not a lot of substance. Some of the pictures are blurry and there was very little detail about the habitats...plants, living vs. non living. I feel like it should not be marketed to second grade, perhaps just K and 1.

this may be a dumb question, but how do you use this mat? I've used one for addition but not with subtraction. I'm afraid they will get confused. If we start with 5 markers in the first box and want to take away 3 markers, what do we put in the second box? 3 new markers or remove 3 from the first box?

Hi! My class and I had a difficult time completing the animal adaptations page today. #2 and #4 were very similar and we didn't know where "fur" was supposed to go. Also, for the States of Matter worksheet, could you please add arrows so the kids know what they are supposed to be looking at? The "ice" in the cup and the "smoke" from the fire were particularly hard to figure out and it was hard to see when printed. I really love the half sheet format of the science journal and appreciate the hard work that went into this product. Thanks! :)

I just purchased My Science Journal . After looing through it I was wondering if you bind them in a notebook before using them and then just go to the section you are working on or do you do these as your lesson plans compe up and then bind them in a book at the end? I teach first grade.

I print them off as needed and have the students glue into a notebook upon completion. At the end of the year they take their notebook home with all of their work. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Kindergarten by Design (TpT Seller)
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

I purchased this hoping to use it as review for the words we learned throughout the year. I noticed there were quite a few mistakes where the word shapes did not match. The Read, Trace, Write pages and Word Scramble also have mistakes. The words in the box do not match the words on the list. Thanks so much

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! I have a couple of suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, create a cover page for each resource which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions and/or suggestion page. List several ways you use these task cards in your classroom. I did notice that neither Math Mat had directions which is really something that should be there. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

I noticed in the science journal packet that the page for the life cycles for butterflies and frogs that the labels are the same. The labels for the butterfly are on there but for the frog it is the same. Could you please make the correction and send me the new page to notch8@cfl.rr.com. Thanks!
