One question: Is there anyway I could get Social Studies and Science standards as well? I'm so sorry but this year I don't have that option because then all 200+ pages (that includes the editable file) would have to be changed. I have pink pom-poms throughout the planner as well, so those would need to be changed too. However, I will keep that in mind for next year. I have already had a request for red and black so maybe I can add that and the turquoise for next year's designs. Thanks! April

I purchased your 2013-2014 teacher planner (the pink and black damask) and am running into a few problems while trying to type into it. Are the text boxes meant to be visible when it is printed, or will they "show" as invisible? Also, if I don't type into every field is there a quick way to make sure all of the "add text here" text doesn't show... My only other problem is compacting my text enough to make everything fit... We are required to include A LOT of components in our lesson plans... Thanks for your help!!

First of all, thanks for your support!! So, unfortunately the boxes will be faint and WILL show up if you print it. For those boxes you decide not to use, you will have to delete the text boxes (including those that say 'add text here'). That was the only way I thought to make it easier for you. I'm so sorry about that. I tried to make it so people could easily just type in the document. If you type and you don't want the lines to show up all you have to do is click on "shape outline" and click on "no outline". I had to add outlines to all the boxes so they would show up. Also, the only way I can think of to get more in, is to decrease the font size. If you need more space, I could possibly figure something out for you but I don't know how many subjects you teach, which might not allow for bigger boxes. I hope this all makes sense. If you don't teach the 5 subjects I allowed room for, send me an email and I can put 4 boxes instead which will give you more room in each box. amodernteacher@gmail.com Thanks again, April

Actually the cover font is just Century Gothic, which is free and comes with most programs (word, power point, etc.). The cursive font on the inside pages is "Eyes Wide Open" by KG Fonts. You can get that for free from KG Fonts' Store here on TpT. Since you can not unzip folders on an ipad you have to first unzip the folder in either a MAC or PC. The Mac will automatically unzip the file for you and on a PC you will have to extract the files. Once you unzip you are good to go. You can pull it up on an ipad and use good notes or just print it. If you unzip it, one way to pull it up on the ipad is to email it to yourself...if your computers don't sync automatically. Thank you! ~April

Hi there - these are great! I teach K though and need some that are a little simpler. Can you post more of the blank Popsicles in different styles? I would like to make some additional ones that are more K appropriate.

I added some more blank ones. :) Thanks! Sure, I don't mind adding some more blank ones. On the writing ones, an idea is to have the kids just share with a neighbor rather than write anything down. They could also say "You are so awesome at ___" and leave out the reasoning. Just a couple of ideas. I will upload a new document by May 8th.

There are a couple of weekly calendars to choose from. I have one for weekly events and one for goal-setting in each subject. You can add which subjects you would like to include in the editable file (in Power Point) or you can choose from a couple I've done for you. Then there is also the monthly calendar. Thanks!

Thanks for the question. There aren't any special education standards or standards for a particular state listed in the planner. Included are K-5 ELA and Math. There is a blank page (or I could send you one) where you could add whatever standards you want but the actual Common Core pages are not editable. I hope this makes sense. Thanks, April

Right now I do not have plans to include any other Texas planners. There are just so many TEKS :) However, if I can get to them mid May, I will.
