Practicality & Creativity--I don't see this cut & paste activity as a productive use of valuable class time.
Clarity--Difficult to read because so much info has been crammed onto a couple of slides. Then you discover that 2 of the 4 slides were just commercials to buy other products by this seller, and one slide was just a repeat of another slide.
Thoroughness--No templates were included to actually create the colorful backgrounds. No samples of completed projects were offered.
Waste of time and data to download this one!

It's really up to you what you include or don't and what order you do them in. It has to make sense to you :)

Hi, Mor! I have a question in regards to the ISN that I recently bought and the foldables you've used. I was wondering if you encountered any challenges insofar as tying them into the CC standards. I was talking to a teammate, and she brought up that all of this new stuff is great but does it correlate to CC; meaning since we're implementing CC this year will one go with the other?

1. I found composition books to be too small for me, that why I picked a spiral notebook. But it's really about your personal preference. It's what you're comfortable with ;)
2. I actually like the idea of integrating the two. Reading and writing are interdependent and that how I like teaching to my kids.

Hi :) no I don't, because I don't do bell work. I found it to be busy work and prefer to have my kids read. My kids read as soon as they walk in the door for 30 min. silently. It helps set the tone for the day and gives me the time to get things in order in the morning. You can always use journal writing as bell work if you want. You will make the most of your time if you starter with reading or writing.

Love your products and your blog. I plan on implementing an interactive student notebook for Reading next year, so I purchased your interactive student notebook templates bundle. I'm not exactly sure why, but whenever I try to scroll through the document, adobe will close. This has never happened before. I haven't had any problems with anything else that I've downloaded from teachers pay teachers or any of my other pdf files. Would you happen to know what I'm doing wrong?
Love your products and your blog. I plan on implementing an interactive student notebook for Reading next year, so I purchased your interactive student notebook templates bundle. I'm not exactly sure why, but whenever I try to scroll through the document, adobe will close. This has never happened before. I haven't had any problems with anything else that I've downloaded from teachers pay teachers or any of my other pdf files. Would you happen to know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, no they are not. Mini lessons are sold separately (but we can work out a bundle if you're interested). The Interactive Notebook is a set of templates that can be applied to all subject areas. I hope this helps. If you have any other question don't hesitate to ask me.

As for the mini lessons, those are the lessons I use for my reading interactive student notebook (for the right side - teacher input) sometimes I give the students a printed copy of them, sometimes they copy the notes from the board, and other times I give it to them verbally and they take their own notes. It depends on the ability of each group of kids and on the lesson. Hope this helps :)

You can use the Boggle as a sponge activity, bell work, end of the day activity, integrate it as a center, or use it as part of you word work. You can have students turn in their papers/journal to be scored on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis, add their scores up, and declare a champion. In my class, I use it as a center this year.
