I like the variety/assortment of questions provided for pre- and post-tests. However, I think one VERY important set of directions were left out of this packet ~~ What are the rules for playing "Flees"???

I apologize Mamaloon. Can't believe I did that. I've updated the product and am including the rules here for you> Thanks for your understanding:
•Flees is a game that everyone can play. You need a ball and 5 kids or more to play.
•All the kids make a circle except one that stands in the center.
•He/she throws the ball in the air and says loud the name of a kid in the circle. The kid that hears his/her name must catch the ball. The other children scatter all over the place.
•The boy or girl that catches the ball counts to three. Then all the children must stop running.
•The boy or girl tries to hit them with the ball. If the boy or girl with the ball does hit someone, that person has a flee. If a child has 5 flees, he/she is out of the
game.

I thought that this is a great way to get the kids motivated to write by actually seeing the real sites. I really liked how you included ways for the teacher to address the various levels of student needs during the thinking maps brainstorming sessions. Awesome lesson and great photos!!

Adam Stuart is a former businessman and current 15-year veteran teacher of multiple grades (4th through 12th). He presently teaches 4th grade at Sand Lake Elementary in Orlando, Florida where his daughter goes to school. Adam loves to travel and then come back home with big ideas on how to make his lessons not only meaningful, but fun, exciting and adventurous. His students often achieve their highest growth ever on the state tests and then continue to excel in higher-level classes in middle and high school. Inspired by a recent trip to Italy where he saw the gigantic wall mural of Raphael’s “School of Athensâ€, he is in the process of developing his own series of private classes called “The School of Athens ~ The School of Thoughtâ€.
