The quality of these are fantastic. They have great graphics that are perfect for any student, but I like using them with my fifth grade class because they aren't too cutesy. The content is great too. They are wonderful right now in my class with so much going on and so little time. Hi - happy to send it by e-mail... however, in order to open the files you need to "extract" them from the zipped folder. Once you've "extracted" them, you will be prompted for somewhere to save them. Once the files are saved onto your computer you can open them. The "extract" button is on the toolbar along the top. Sorry, you're having trouble!

Thanks for the great materials! I am excited to use them. I did, however, notice an error on the Types of Sentences - Monster themed posters. On the exclamatory sentence poster is the sentence "Watch out for the orange monster!" This is actually an imperative sentence that ends with an exclamation mark. An easy mistake to make. Thanks again for the great products.

Hmm... Are you on a Mac? If so it won't let you save in preview mode... But if you are on a PC you might want to try updating Adobe. It's a free download if you google it. I downloaded the packet, which looks wonderful, but it will not print. My Adobe is updated, but I keep getting a message that says "The document will not print; there are no selected pages to print." I've never seen this message before, and the set up on my printer looks fine, but when I hit print, I keep getting this message." Any ideas what to do?

Weird... I have never heard of that error before. My first suggestion is to update Adobe and that usually fixes issues. I've sold 100s of this package so I don't think it's an error with the file. Have you googled the error msg? I could send you a copy of the file by email later today and you could see if that helps. The package covers a lot about advertising (techniques, slogans, analysis...) it also covers the role of media in student's live, the role of media in influencing decisions students make, the power of media in society in general and more.

I've never taught 1st grade, but judging by my 6 year old niece, I think it would be too challenging. It's really targeted for grades 4-8.
I've seen more grade appropriate items with the same topic - you might just have to do a more targeted search.

Is there a way that you can change this into a .doc so that my students can use it in a computer work station or in the computer lab and not have to hand write in it? I can only seem to save it as a pdf. It looks WONDERFUL and I'd love to use it with my kids! Thanks for posting and being willing to do so for FREE! :) LOVE it!

Hi Addie, Oh, I see. Didn't realize they were in order--an answer key would be helpful. I'll look at the links again--but when I downloaded the game and tried to click on them they weren't "live". I realize they didn't have to do with the game, just wanted to see if they might be helpful. thanks.

There's no answer key because they're in the order that they should be in, but I'm realizing now that when you shuffle them up and hand them out that might be challenging. I'll quickly add an answer key and repost or I could send it to you if you leave your e-mail. The links on the back page are just links to other products (not sure why they're not live??) but they don't link to anything to do with the game.

Of course! Ha ha... I took it out to appeal to US people... I'll pop it back in and upload it tonight! I've now included two options (a US and a Canadian version). Also gave me a chance to update the file... it's been a while since I've looked at it... I added a Mapping Essentials worksheet to it that may be helpful too.

Not really a question... On the front cover it says students are to write a paragraph about their favorite ride, etc.. but on the page detailing the assignment, it states a page. Just wanted to make mention of it incase no one has. It was a little confusing to some of my students.

There's a smally typo on the Halloween Mystery instruction page. In the bottom section it reads I went to the story. I'm sure you meant to use the word store and because it's spelled correctly, spell check won't catch it.
