Kristin Conway  (TpT Seller) re: Copper Caper- Green Penny Lab
What are the measurements for the copper penny experiment? How much salt do I put in how much vinegar? Looks like a great idea to discover why The Statue of Liberty looks the way it does. I'm going to do this with my Kindergarten class. Thanks!

I don't use specific measurements- just enough to thoroughly cover the penny. Pennies made before 1976 work best as they have a higher percentage of copper. I always place them in the sun to dry. The kids love this one!
