That's a great idea. As well as having a whole class, you could also shrink the shapes down on the photocopier and make individual mobiles for the children!

Great resource! Very colourful and fun :-) However the resource is password protected so I cannot save to my laptop. This means I need to log onto TpT to print which is a bit of a hassle. None of my other resources require this- perhaps this is an creator oversight?

Hi, Thanks for the enquiry. I do think that as it stands, it would be too tricky for First Grade. However, if you were to do some more of the activities as a teacher demonstration or had an teacher aide or older children to help, you would be able to support children through most of the activities. I wouldn't attempt it until the second half of the year though! I will discount the packet for the next two days so you can purchase it if you would like - knowing that you won't be to use every activity should you choose to purchase it, I don't want you to have to pay full price!

Hi! I'm so sorry, the other maps aren't included because of my ignorance - thinking that the America's was split into North, Central and South. It's my mistake for thinking about it in terms of regions instead of continents! My Dad and google have put me straight! We will get to work adding the other 6 countries to the map set, starting with the North America map first and then individual maps of the others. We hope to have it done as soon as possible and added to the file. I know it is disappointing when you download something and can't use it straight away so I apologise for that! If you would prefer, please email me at aahislop963@gmail.com and I can email the maps straight to you when completed. Oh I am so sorry Kim! Thanks so much for letting me know! I made these and even have them hanging in my room, I most definitely was daydreaming when I made them! I have updated the file so please download it again.
You will notice that I have duplicated the page with the cone. Some believe that it can only be a vertice when two straight lines meet, as a result, the cone is not considered to have a vertice. I understand this could be controversial so I have included both!

I am so sorry I missed this message. My emails have been going to my trash and I didn't realise it! I hope you have figured out how to print the files now. If not, you should be able to insert the files into a word or powerpoint document and print easily from there. On my computer, I am also able to right click and select print.

Oh no! I have a Mac also, so the file has been created on an apple, uploaded as a pdf (and I use adobe on my computer). Recently I had a similar problem and I had to update my adobe on my computer. If that doesn't work, email me at aahislop963@gmail.com and I will troubleshoot with you from there, I can try emailing the file straight to you!

First, create a cover page for EVERY product you create which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. (I have no idea what these labels are for or how to use them.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Finally, number your pages.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for 9 years. Two years of that was spent teaching in California and Washington, the rest of the time in Australia! I love teaching primary age children, knowing that I am influencing future generations. I am passionate about teaching and everything I create is current, purposeful and engaging for children.
