This is a good start for a more thorough unit plan. I would have liked to have seen either some book/presentation examples or written examples of what the kids put down on their own sheets.
My kids loved this exercise. I added a little and had my students create a monster trading card. I created a paper with a mad scientist who needed help making the perfect monster. On their trading card they had to pick three super powers from this list. Then they had to create information such as their habitat, food sources, weakness, life cycle, life span, likes and dislikes, a picture that represents their monster. All information had to work together to create a seamless reasonable monster. (Such as no hairless skinny monsters in the arctic tundra!) lol the kids loved it! Thanks for the inspiration!
