TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently in the middle of my fifth year teaching 1st grade in a public school in Virginia. I did my student teaching in kindergarten and fourth grade in Tennessee, so I have resources from both states related to state standards.

I graduated from John S. Battle High School in Bristol, VA in 2001. I attended King College in Bristol, TN and graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Behavioral Science/Elementary Education.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I am married to an incredible music teacher, who teaches Pre-K to 5 music in another school in the same district. We have a beautiful cat named Cassidy who is our pride and joy. Oh, and yes, that is us in my profile picture dressed up as Harry Potter and Hermione Granger! :-)
