I started my professional teaching in LasVegas, NV for the Clark County School District. I taught there for 2 years teaching 3rd and 4th grades. After teaching in Nevada I taught 3rd grade for a year at Osan American Elementary School in South Korea for DoDDs. From there I moved to Germany and taught for two years at Bitburg Elementary for DoDDs. I taught a multi-age primary and 2nd grade classroom. After Germany, I moved to Delaware where I taught for 2.5 years for the Lake Forest School District, both 1st and 2nd grades. I am now a 2nd grade teacher in Indiana.
Teaching is my passion! I love student learning to be very hands on and kid centered.
Department of Defense Supervisor's Award for my work in the Multi-age Program
I am a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I have a B.A. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading.
I am a mother of two, a teacher, and a wife. I love my family and I love my job! I couldn't see myself doing anything else. Life is good! My husband is in the United States Air Force, so we are constantly moving!
