mllekerr re: Preterite Verbs Instructional and Practice Animated PowerPoint
I am gratefully using your power point to introduce preterite in my classroom. I would like to be able to upload it to my classroom blog at edublogs. I have my students working independently as much as possible. It would be great for them to have access to the power point at home. Is it possible to get permission to upload the power point? Thank you.

Más que una pregunta es un comentario, al terminar la lección y pasar al repaso, sugiero cambies la palabra "practicamos" por "practiquemos" que es una instrucción más adecuada.

Excelente presentación.

Hi Amanda - I'm a new ESL teacher, and really liked your body parts Bingo game. However, as far as I can see, every board has the same pictures, so every player will have BINGO at the same time. This Bingo game will only get a winner, when the goal is one horizontal, vertical, diagonal line or so. Do you have an alternative way of playing it? Thank you!

Hi,
That shouldnt be a problem. I have used the boards to play. Many picture bingo board games have the same pictures. Because the pictures are in different order on each board the students do not all get bingo at the same time.

Hi Amanda - I've been hoping to include your freebie in a blog post for a while now (teachingfsl.blogspot.com). Can I make my own French version based on yours, provided I include a link to your original here? Let me know please! madameaiello AT gmail DOT com (PS: you can delete this question if you don't want others to see it in the future)
:-)

Thanks!

Hello,
OH! I misread your original email. I got it in my head you were interested in my food board games and I converted the breakfast, lunch and dinner board games into French. Those are on my product listings but are not free. I will convert the zoo board game into French and keep that one a feebie as well. Thank you for correcting the error. I will try and get that done as soon as possible :)

This is listed under French as well as Spanish... do you have a version without the Spanish words & the appropriate French instead? If so, I plan to include a link to your product in an upcoming blog post this week about tips for French substitute teachers.

Please let me know if that would be OK - Thanks!

First, I think your power point is great. Second, does it have sound? If not, will I be able to add sound to it?
Thanks,

The slide for "alrededor" has sound. You can edit it any way you like - including adding sound! Thank you for asking.

Dear Amanda,

My name is Jack Dennison. I am the Editor-in-Chief of www.FunnelBrain.com, an educational website. I am writing to you because the quality of the work you have posted to PTP distinguishes you as a talented author. I am looking for teacher-authors to create custom study review materials for FunnelBrain (on a paid basis, of course).

These study materials would take the form of online flashcards, quizzes, and study guides for high school and college level courses, as well as for certain standardized exams such as the GMAT, the SAT or the GRE. We are also interested in lesson plans built around activities that can take place on www.FunnelBrain.com.

If you are interested in a paid writing assignment, please email me at jack@funnelbrain.com, and I will respond with details on the available assignments. In the meantime, please feel free to browse FunnelBrain.com.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Jack Dennison

Hi Amanda, you have some great activities! What do you do with the buena/mala suerte cards? Also, how does the body itself get drawn?

Hello! Im sorry I forgot to include that instruction! When the team gets their blank paper, they draw a circle to represent the stomach (they can add a neck if they want) to start. Then they add the rest of the body parts as they pull them from the bag. If they draw a mala suerte card they lose their turn for that round. If they draw a buena suerte card they get to choose any body part they want to add to their picture. I hope that helps! Thank you for your purchase!

Amanda,
I just gave you a positive rating for your body bingo game. Could you repay the favor and check out one of my products and rate it? I find it's really hard to get products rated. My free product is "Adjective Review Game: Guessing Famous People Using 20 Clues" and my other primary product is "Fairy Tale Project to Review Grammar and Verb Tenses". If you have other products, I'd be happy to rate them for you. I figure we'll both do better if we collaborate. My user name is jerez121 and my e-mail is jerez121@gmail.com if you have any questions. Thanks so much. --Sherry
