What I Have Learned (TpT Seller)
This is perfect for the next couple weeks. I have a student who doesn't celebrate holidays and I'm always looking for ways (and ideas) to help him participate. I would love if the "paper" included a sheet without primary lines and also included a full-page of each. So often, my student's can't fit their writing on one page.

This was the first unit our class did without your review and my kids were asking where is the fun review we usually do. Hopefully you are still planning on posting Units 10-12 to be used next year. They have been fantastic and apparently my kids don't think too much about the review I created for Unit 10. Thanks Amanda! We're on lesson 6.10(the last lesson). I was planning on reviewing Thursday but we got a little behind with 2 hr. delays and Vday parties and such. :) Now I'm thinking review next Monday and test Tuesday. MY TEACHING STYLE
Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire - Yeats I would describe my style as hands on, fun and interactive. I try to differentiate as much of my day as possible. I believe it's important for students to learn HOW to learn in whole group instruction, but I also think that each child deserves a good chance to learn in the way the learn best!
HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT
I'm a third year teacher, which means I'm still getting out there in the teaching world. The best honor I could get, is one that I'm lucky enough to be given every day I'm with my kiddos! It's seeing that light bulb flash inside them; seeing each of them excited and driven to learn!!
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
All through my own education, I knew I wanted to be an Elementary School Teacher! I started out very young, "teaching" my poor younger brother all sorts of important things! After graduation from high school I attended Albion College in Albion, MI. There I studied Elementary Education and Spanish Language. I was lucky enough to study abroad in Spain for a semester and was even able to observe at a Spanish school! And my education continues; I love attending Professional Deveopment - my favorite topics: Reading, Mathamatics and Technology!!
